CSC - Scarf

Art and graphic direction for the Collectif Strate Club, a mixed student football club.
The design draws on the graphic codes of popular football and ultras groups: heavy lettering, repeated patterns, sharp contrasts made to be read from afar. The “CSC” monogram from the club’s logo runs along the whole length, knitted in, in two colourways, black and blue.
The shoot was done with the club’s players, who take part every year in the READ football festival, which brings together art and design students from several European schools. Worn by the team, the scarf becomes its rallying sign, on the pitch and off it.
